Is Scientology trying to prove it is a better religion than others because it is loosely based on things we consider to be scientific facts, like evolution?
A lot of the things mentioned in the reading (i.e. "theta-bodies" or "MEST bodies") seem like allegories for common ideas. Why is this? Are they more than simple allegories?
Zander, I'd like to know if L. Ron Hubbard actually believed any of this, or if he just wanted to make a story, saw people believing it and just rolled with it.
